Parris Campbell has retired from professional football, the Dallas Cowboys confirmed Wednesday, placing the wide receiver on the reserve/retired list. The decision ends a seven-year NFL career for Campbell, who turns 29 in less than two months. "Parris Campbell is hanging up his cleats in 2026," the Cowboys stated on their official website, confirming he would also be removed from the club's roster.

Campbell never appeared in a regular-season game for Dallas. He spent last season on injured reserve and the practice squad before signing a reserve/futures contract with the club in January 2026. His most recent regular-season action came with the Philadelphia Eagles in 2024, when he caught six passes across five games and earned a Super Bowl ring following Philadelphia's victory over the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX on Feb. 9, 2025, at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans.

The Indianapolis Colts selected Campbell out of Ohio State in the second round of the 2019 NFL Draft. He spent four seasons with the Colts, accumulating 983 receiving yards, with a career-best 623-yard campaign in 2022. He joined the New York Giants in 2023 before signing with Philadelphia and, subsequently, Dallas.

Campbell's retirement opens a roster spot for Dallas, leaving the Cowboys with two vacancies on their 90-man roster ahead of voluntary organized team activities scheduled to begin in June.
